There’s
a good chance that somebody in the car is going to get hungry
after a long day at the lake. On the way home, try to stop
at Lavonia
(Exit 173) for Zaxby’s. Most of the
other fast food restaurants are there, too. If you miss 173,
you better stop at Commerce (Exit 149). There you find Chic-fil-A,
Zaxby’s and all the rest. After Commerce, you’ll
need to get down to Hamilton Mill before you have any other
good
options.
If you’re not eating
on the run, Chateau
Elan (Exit 166) has several nice restaurants and The
Carriage House (Exit 137) in Jefferson is a delightful
1886 Victorian home which has recently been restored as a
restaurant.
